Abstract


The research title is “The Project of health promotion and social learning following Buddhist way by the participation of Sangha Community in Center region”, there are of 4 objectives, 1) to study of application of Buddha’s teaching to promote of health and social learning by the participation of Sangha Community in Center Part in 4 provinces such as Singburi, Rajaburi, Supanburi, and Prachinburi, 2) to develop the competency of Sangha for the promotion of health and social learning through the project of Buddhist integration development, 3) to open the social way and learning the Buddhist way into four provinces in the center part, and 4) to analyze the relationship of Sangha Community government sector, local administration, and community organization part for the health promotion and social learning following Buddhist way. The result of study is found that the Sangha Community in four provinces has applied Buddhist teaching to health promotion and social learning by the principle of the four developments (Bhavana), 1) physical development (kaya-bhavita), 2) moral development (sila-bhavita), 3) mental development (citta-bhavita), and 4) wisdom development (panna-bhavita), it is called the development in four sides such physic, emotion, social, and wisdom. The Ecclesiastical Province Governor of each province has set up the seminar project for Buddhist monk community which are consist of Buddhist Ecclesiastical Official, missionary monks, Moral teaching monks, propagator monks, development monks, and Buddhist Camps, they are participated with the government and private sector, community, and educational institute to have the system of learning of monks and community to develop the Sangha Organization for aggressive promotion of Buddhism. Each province has set the difference of activity’s model; it is emphasized in both theory and practice to develop the personnel of those places in the same direction which train by the experienced instructor to develop the efficiency of social learning truly.
