The Buddhas Integration For elder Service of Local Administration Organization in Nakhonpathom Province

Abstract


The objectives of this research were: (1) to study the process of enhancing the health of the elderly of the community organization in Sampran District, Nakhon Pathom (2) to study the activities of integration of Buddhist principles of in enhancing the health of the elderly of the community organization In Samphran District Nakhon Pathom and (3) to propose
the integration of Buddhist principles and the enhancement of the well-being for the elderly. This research is qualitative research. Using the research method: document and field study by collecting data from in-depth interviews of 25 key informants, the research was conducted by sub-group members and 15 experts from each group to summarize the results. They are as below the enhancing of Health of the elderly of the community organization in Sampran District, Nakhon Pathom using the Threefold training which presented to promote the elderly to practice meditation regularly, to live more carefully, safety precautions, knowing, conscious, self-conscious, calm and more rational.  Activities that integrate Buddhist principles in enhancing the health of the elderly of the organization in Samphran Community, Nakhon Pathom using the Threefold training to develop physical, verbal and mental behavior. Improving intelligence helps life succeed. There is a health garden, a patio, local wisdom or villagers or trained farmers as
a lecturer to give all the information, religious activities on special occasions. Proposing integration of Buddhist principles and enhancing the well-being of
the elderly using the Three Noble Truth to be applied or used. Living a sufficient lifestyle. The elderly are able to support themselves and others.
