Leadership according to the Sevenfold Sappurisadhamma for administrators in the Phrapariyattidhamma schools in Khonkaen province

Abstract

          The purposes of this research were (1) to study the leadership according to sevenfold Sappurisadhamma for administrators in the Phrapariyattidhamma School, Khonkaen province, (2) to compare the leadership according to sevenfold Sappurisadhamma for administrators in the Phrapariyattidhamma Schools, Khonkaen province, and (3) to study approaches to promote the leadership according to sevenfold Sappurisadhamma for administrators in the Phrapariyattidhamma Schools, Khonkaen province.

          A result of this research was found in the following aspects.

          1. A study of the leadership according to sevenfold Sappurisadhamma for administrators in the Phrapariyattidhamma Schools, Khonkaen province in

general was in the high level. When each aspect of this study was considered, it was in the high level. It could be organized in order as follows:  Atthaññutā,  Parisaññutā, Kālaññutā, Puggalaññutā, Mattaññutā, Dhammaññutā, and  Attaññutā.

          2. A result of comparing the opinion of the leadership according to sevenfold Sappurisadhamma for administrators in the Phrapariyattidhamma Schools, Khonkaen province, classified with their status and experience, was found that it was significantly different at the 0.05 level and then, there was the acceptance of the proposed hypothesis.

          3. The view of administrators and teachers on approaches to promote the leadership according to sevenfold Sappurisadhamma for administrators in the Phrapariyattidhamma Schools, Khonkaen province was in the following points.

           Dhammaññutā was found that the administrators was a trained person but they should be given a chance to take more self-development, namely learning cause and effect, principles, and duties in order to get more efficiency of management.

               Atthaññutā was found that the administrators should be more open-minded, able to accept their colleagues’ thoughts and opinion, and interested in living with all things without attraction. 

               Attaññutā was found that the administrators should control emotions, and be patient without selfish, and follow greatly the Middle Way in Buddhism.

               Mattaññutā was found that the administrators should learn the theory of moderation, manage the central budget properly, especially in education, and grow more development of organization

              Kālaññutā was found that the administrators should learn the time and the opportunity of developing the school, have a good plan without taking the learning periods out, and work with a clear goal.

               Parisaññutā was found that the administrators should be a good friend for the community, other people and other organizations in order to get faith and acceptance from personnel within the school and peoples in the other organizations.

               Puggalaññutā was found that the administrators should be equal to all persons, choose properly a person for a work, train all workers properly for work, and promote their prosperity in life.
