ความต้องการและความคาดหวังของชุมชนท้องถิ่นเกี่ยวกับการให้บริการวิชาการแก่สังคมของมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏชัยภูมิ LOCAL COMMUNITY’S NEEDS AND EXPECTATIONS OF ACADEMIC SERVICE TO SOCIETY OF CHAIYAPHUM RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract

 การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ศึกษาความต้องการของชุมชนท้องถิ่นเกี่ยวกับการให้บริการทางวิชาการแก่สังคมของมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏชัยภูมิ ผู้ให้ข้อมูลได้แก่ผู้นำชุมชนและประชาชนในหมู่บ้านต่าง ๆ ในจังหวัดชัยภูมิ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามชนิดปลายเปิด วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการวิเคราะห์จำแนกประเภทบนพื้นฐานของหลักการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ ดังนี้

1. ผลจากการศึกษาความต้องการของชุมชนในการรับบริการทางวิชาการด้านเศรษฐกิจ พบว่า ประชาชนมีความต้องการรับบริการทางวิชาการเกี่ยวกับการสร้างงาน การสร้างอาชีพ การเพิ่มรายได้ให้กับครอบครัว การแปลงขยะให้เป็นสินทรัพย์และเป็นรายได้ การปรับปรุงพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ชุมชน การแปรรูปพืชผักผลไม้ในท้องถิ่นให้มีคุณค่าและมีมูลค่าเพิ่ม การพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์โดยใช้วัสดุที่มีอยู่ในชุมชน การจัดทำบัญชีครัวเรือน

            2. ผลจากการศึกษาความต้องการของชุมชนในการรับบริการทางวิชาการด้านสังคม พบว่า ประชาชนมีความต้องการรับบริการทางวิชาการเกี่ยวกับการดูแลรักษาสุขภาพอนามัย การปฐมพยาบาล การป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออก การเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับการอ่านและการเขียนทั้งภาษาไทย และภาษาอังกฤษ การใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ การดูแลผู้สูงอายุ การพัฒนาชุมชนท้องถิ่นให้น่าอยู่ การปลูกฝังคุณธรรมจริยธรรมให้กับเด็กและเยาวชน

            3. ผลจากการศึกษาความต้องการของชุมชนในการรับบริการทางวิชาการด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม พบว่า ประชาชนมีความต้องการรับบริการทางวิชาการเกี่ยวกับการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยและสิ่งปฏิกูล การนำขยะมา             รีไซเคิล การจัดตั้งธนาคารขยะ และการแปลงขยะให้เป็นสินทรัพย์ การอนุรักษ์ฟื้นฟูป่าโดยการปลูกต้นไม้ทดแทน การอนุรักษ์ฟื้นฟูแหล่งน้ำ ลำคลอง และแม่น้ำ การทำท่อระบายน้ำเพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาน้ำขังเน่าเสียและส่งกลิ่นเหม็น การทำฝายชะลอน้ำ การทำปุ๋ยหมักและปุ๋ยชีวภาพจากของเหลือใช้และใบไม้

The objective of this qualitative research was to study local community’s needs and expectations of academic service to society by Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University. Key informants were the leaders and people from various villages in Chaiyaphum province. Open questionnaire was used to collect data. Typological analysis was used to analyze the data based on the principle of sustainable development. The research results could be summarized as follows:

1. The results of studying the local community’s needs and expectations of economical academic service found that people’s needs were creating job and career for the people, raising income, transformation of waste into asset and income, developing community product, transformation of farm plant into valuable product and household accounting.

2. The results of studying the local community’s needs and expectations of social academic service found that people’s needs were healthcare, first aid, preventing dengue fever, ability to read and write both Thai and English, using information technology, elderly caring, developing livable community and enhancing virtue to children and young people.

3. The results of expectations of social academic service studying the local community’s needs found that the people’s needs were: managing waste, waste recycling, setting waste bank, transforming waste in to asset, conservation of forest and afforest, also flowing water including canal and waterway conservation, putting water pipe to resolve waste water from household, making dam, and  the biological fertilizers from waste and leaves.
