The role of teacher with students: Gen Y

Abstract


         The Generation Y (Gen Y), or the Millennials refers to the specific generation born between the 1980’s to the early 1990’s. This group grew up amid the changes and difference values between the grandparents and parents, but also the progress of technology, internet is adopted into the daily life.

         The teacher is a valuable profession to the quality of human resources, the education system, as well as developing countries to progress in the future. If any country has a quality teacher that could guarantee in the quality of human resources. Teachers should not take care the students only, but they should have the skills to make the motivation to the students as well to cultivate the love and joy of learning or make joinable learning and would encourage further learning. Teachers should adhere to "teach less learn a lot", That is, in the activities of the students, teachers should have questions and answer for students to know what they are learning and to help the students learn those things.  So, the teacher role is an important in helping to develop the learning process, analysis and synthesis to get the solutions for students in generation Y by adapting the Buddha’s teaching with the learning process in the 21st century. This will help students to develop the learning process and this solution will be a truly effective and productive.
