Buddhist Methods Develop Ruined Temples in Thailand to be Brilliant Temples

Abstract


          The ruined temples within Thailand have been increased averagely 75 temples each year since 1971. Until Now Thailand have the ruined temples about 37,689 temples all over country. There are the severed rate of ruined temples and there also have impact to Buddhism and the country. For Thai people, temples are the major place to disseminate the Buddhism education, knowledge and enlightenment for monks and interested persons. Temples are the important place to create good monks and enlighten peoples as the good Buddhists. Temple also the best place for community for setting up meeting and cultivate Thai culture. Temple is also the perfect place for the unity of Thai Society.

          Unfortunately, at the present many temples had been ruined because there had none of monk to stay at such temples. It means the decreased rate of Thai man who needed to enter the Monks as compared with the former time. Some Thai people called themselves Buddhists only their name, but they were lack of Buddhist practices. They had never gone to temple for doing merit or any Buddhist activities. Some temples have been invaded and possessed as the domestic or misappropriated facilities for some Thai people. They also made up strike as they had been expelled. They claimed temple as their property as their living there for long time. The solution is the Government, monk and community nearby temple must set up the serious policy to solve this issue. For example, on the Buddha era, there had been used the higher authority of billionaire and baron as the core leader to solve the same issue. Therefore they could change ruined temple to be brilliant temple.
