การศึกษาวิเคราะห์คุณค่าประเพณีการตานขันข้าวในล้านนา

Abstract

การศึกษาวิเคราะห์คุณค่าประเพณีการตานขันข้าวในล้านนาผู้วิจัยมีจุดประสงค์ คือ  ๑) เพื่อศึกษาแนวคิด พัฒนาการของประเพณีการตานขันข้าวในล้านนา ๒) เพื่อศึกษาวิธีการ ส่งเสริมและอนุรักษ์ประเพณีการตานขันข้าวใน ล้านนา และ ๓) เพื่อศึกษาวิเคราะห์คุณค่าของ ประเพณีการตานขันข้าวในล้านนา การวิจัยครั้งนี้ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) โดยศึกษาจากหนังสือ เอกสาร และการสัมภาษณ์เชิง ลึก ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยที่ใช้ในการศึกษานี้ คือ การวิเคราะห์ และอธิบายผลการวิจัย

          จากการศึกษาพัฒนาการของประเพณีการตานขันข้าวในล้านนา พบว่า การตานขันข้าวเป็นประเพณีหนึ่งที่สืบทอดกันมาเป็นเวลานานของประชาชนในภาคเหนือส่วนใหญ่นิยมทำกันในวันพระหรือวันสำคัญทางศาสนา เช่น วันเข้าพรรษา วันออกพรรษา วันสงกรานต์ วันคล้ายวันเกิด ซึ่งในวันดังกล่าวชาวบ้านจะนำภัตตาหาร ไปถวายพระที่วัดเพื่ออุทิศส่วนกุศลไปให้พ่อ แม่ ญาติ พี่น้องที่ล่วงลับไปแล้วและเจ้ากรรมนายเวรเป็นการอนุรักษ์ และสืบทอดวัฒนธรรมการทำบุญ และยังเป็นการสืบทอดในเรื่องความกตัญญูต่อบรรพบุรุษโดยไม่ต้องใช้วิธีอบรมสั่งสอน แต่เป็นวิธีที่ผู้ใหญ่ได้ปฏิบัติตนให้ลูกหลานได้เห็นเป็นตัวอย่าง ในด้านการส่งเสริมและอนุรักษ์ประเพณีการตานขันข้าวในล้านนา พบว่ามีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งต่อพระพุทธศาสนาต่อตนเองและมีความสำคัญต่อผู้อื่นซึ่งการให้ทานนับว่าเป็นรากฐานแห่งพระพุทธศาสนาอย่างแท้จริงเพื่อกำจัดกิเลส คือ ความโลภและความตระหนี่ในจิตสันดานและช่วยเหลือผู้อื่นสามารถผูกไมตรี ความสามัคคีของกันและกันได้ ควรช่วยกันส่งเสริมประเพณีนี้ให้เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของชาวล้านนาอีกทั้งช่วยกัน เผยแพร่หลักธรรมคำสอนของพระพุทธศาสนาให้เป็นที่ประจักษ์แก่ชนทั่วไป

          ด้านคุณค่าของประเพณีการตานขันข้าวในล้านนา พบว่าเป็นประเพณีที่ปฏิบัติสืบๆกันมา ซึ่งสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงอิทธิพลของพุทธศาสนาที่มีต่อสังคมไทย และชี้ให้เห็นว่าชาวไทยให้ความสำคัญใน การบำรุงพุทธศาสนาด้วย ประเพณีการตานขันข้าว ยังเป็นเอกลักษณ์มีคุณค่า อีกด้านหนึ่งของล้านนาการให้ทานจึงเป็นพฤติกรรมที่ดีงาม ไม่เบียดเบียน กัน เป็นการฝึกคนให้รู้จักคำว่าให้ซึ่งกันและกันเป็นวิธีการนำคนเข้าสู่ชุมชนและเข้าสู่วิถีชีวิตของสังคมนั้น เขาเริ่มเรียนรู้ว่าระเบียบแบบแผน วัฒนธรรม ประเพณีของชุมชนหรือสังคม ประเพณีการตานขันข้าวในล้านนาจึงจำเป็นต่อการดำรงอยู่ของ คนในชุมชนล้านนา ที่จะช่วยให้สังคมมีความเจริญ ทางด้านจิตใจ สร้างความศรัทธาให้เกิดขึ้นใน ประเพณีของล้านนา ที่แสดงออกถึงความกตัญญูกตเวทีต่อผู้ที่มีอุปการคุณ ผู้เป็นบุพการีของตน

This research of the Analytical Study of the Values of Dana Khankhau Tradition in Lanna of 3 objectives, namely: 1)  To study the concept                   of development of Dana Khankhau Tradition in Lanna 2) To study the method how to promote and preserve Dana Khankhau Tradition in Lanna and                      3) To study the value of Dana Khankhau Tradition in Lanna. This research is                     a qualitative one by studying the documents and the deep interviews.                  The methodology adopted in the present study is the interpretation and the analyzation.

          From the study, it found that the Dana Khankhau. Tradition in Lanna is a tradition of all the people in the north of Thailand which has been inherited for a long time. Most people like to do Dana Khankhau in the Buddhist Day or the important day in Buddhism such as the first day of the Buddhist Lent, the end of the Buddhist Lent, the SongKran Festival Day and the birthday. On these days, the people will bring food for offering to the Buddhist monks at the temple for dedicating merits to the parents, the relatives and the enemies from a former lives. It is to preserve the ment about the gratefulness to ancestors which out the teaching method of study, but it is the method which the adult will practice to be example for the younger generations.

          In term of the promotion and the presentation the Dana Khankhau Tradition in Lanna, it is found that it is of the most importance to Buddhism, to oneself and to other persons. The Dana is really the basis of Buddhism, destroys the defilements and helps others. It also couldestablish friendship promote the tradition to be the identity of Lanna people and also to cooperate the spread the Buddhist Dhamma teaching to the general people.

          From the value of the Dana Khankhau Tradition in Lanna it is found that, it is a tradition that is practised for a long time, the feet of which has reflected the influence of Buddhism to Thai societies and It shows that the Thai          people are interested in maintaining Buddhism. This tradition is still the identity of the value of Lanna which is a good behavior, not to harm other. It is the training the people to know the word of giving thing to other. It is also a method that brings the people to come to the community and the way of life in the societies. In addition, this tradition is a very obliged to the well-being of the people in the Lanna communities. This fact will help the people development their mind and build up the faith in the tradition of Lanna which shows of the gave to gratitude to the benefactors to who are the earliest teachers as be their parents.
