บทคัดย่อ

            วัดเป็นศูนย์กลางของชุมชนในสังคมไทยมาตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน อิทธิพลของพระพุทธศาสนาเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญในการกำหนดวิถีชีวิตของชาวไทยเริ่มตั้งแต่เกิดจนตาย คนไทยทุกเพศทุกวัยไม่ว่าจะเป็นชายหรือหญิง เด็กน้อย หนุ่มสาวหรือแม้แต่ผู้สูงอายุล้วนมีความใกล้ชิดกับพระและวัด ทำให้ได้มีโอกาสซึมซับหลักธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนาและได้รับการอบรมสั่งสอนจากพระภิกษุสงฆ์ แต่ในปัจจุบันด้วยข้อจำกัดหลายประการ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการจราจรที่แออัด ช่วงเวลาที่ไม่เอื้ออำนวยทำให้การเข้าวัดของคนไทยกลายเป็นเรื่องที่ยากลำบากมากขึ้นโดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มของผู้สูงอายุและผู้พิการ เนื่องจากยุคนี้เป็นยุคของการเร่งรีบแย่งชิง การท่องเที่ยวในสถานที่ต่าง ๆ ก็จะเต็มไปด้วยผู้คนที่เบียดเสียดแย่งกันใช้บริการเป็นสาเหตุให้ผู้สูงอายุและผู้พิการไม่ได้รับความสะดวก ดังนั้น การท่องเที่ยวเชิงพุทธศาสนาจึงเป็นอีกทางเลือกหนึ่งที่สังคมปัจจุบันให้ความต้องการเพราะเป็นการท่องเที่ยวที่เป็นการสืบทอดพระพุทธศาสนาและเหมาะสมกับผู้สูงอายุและผู้พิการมากที่สุด ซึ่งในแต่ละวัดก็มีศักยภาพในด้านต่าง ๆ อาทิเช่น ด้านการแพทย์แผนไทย ด้านการปฏิบัติธรรม วัดที่เป็นแหล่งโบราณสถาน วัดที่มีพระพุทธรูปศักดิ์สิทธิ์ วัดที่มีแหล่งเรียนรู้ภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น หรือแม้แต่สถานที่พักผ่อนหย่อนใจ ซึ่งจะทำให้นักท่องเที่ยวได้มีโอกาสผ่อนคลายจากความเครียดและมีทางเลือกในการท่องเที่ยวเพิ่มขึ้น

Abstract

          The monastery is the community center of Thai society from the past to the present. Buddhism influence is an important factor for directing the way of life of Thai people since the birth to death. All Thai people, whether male or female children younger even elderly are closed to monks and temple which make them osmotic with the Buddha’s teaching and they are inculcated by the Buddhist monk. At present, there are many limitations such as traffic jam, unsuitable time of entering the temple, which become the more difficult especially the elderly and handicapped. As this modern world is the competition and struggles traveling in various places is full of the crowd struggling for services this causes the elderly and handicapped not to get convenience. So Buddhism tour is another alternative which modern society gave more emphasis because it continues Buddhism and suitable for elderly and handicapped. A past from this, each temple has various potential such as Thai herb medicine, academy practicing meditation, ancient places sacred image Buddha, the temple as learning source academy and temple as relaxing place. Which make the tourists relaxed from tensions. They have more alternative for tourism.
