An Analysis of Lokaniti Poem in Buddhist Social Philosophy

Abstract


This research is of 3 objectives:-1) to study the sources of the Lokaniti poem, 2) to study the general cores appearing in the Lokaniti poem, and 3) to study the behaviors and the practical ways in the Lokaniti poem for people in the Buddhist social philosophy. Data in the research were collected from Tipitaka, Buddhist Textbooks including the Lokaniti poem in several styles of writing and the academic textbooks.
In this research, it was clearly found that the analysis of the Lokaniti poem relating to the behavior of generally society was made by using the principle of the concept of Buddhist social philosophy as the conceptual framework criteria, and the results of the analysis were found that the behavior and the practical ways in the Lokaniti poem for people in Buddhist social philosophy referred to 33 big groups which covered all of the persons’ behavior while living in society.
